General Summary
As a Senior IT Engineer in Desktop Field Services, your role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to desktop infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving issues related to operating systems (both Windows and Linux), networks (LAN/WAN), systems, and applications.
- Performing root cause analyses and escalating issues as necessary.
- Test and deploy hardware and software solutions.
- Manage end-user technology projects, such as migrations, deployments and introducing current technology solutions.
- Exposure to process automation using scripting and APIs to streamline IT operations, reduce manual effort, and improve service reliability.
- Leverage AI tools and frameworks to enhance troubleshooting, optimize workflows, and build intelligent, scalable automation solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone/email and in person.




- Handle administration for various technology platforms, including mobility, messaging, collaboration, and unified communication spaces.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technology needs are being met and issues are resolved.
- Communicate effectively with leads via email and direct conversations. Provide recommendations to overcome obstacles.
- Serve as a resource for less experienced personnel, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Collaborating with internal business partners to ensure new systems meet user requirements.
- Documenting solutions and common processes.
- Networking with colleagues to gain insights and connections.
- Contributing to technical discussions and brainstorming project strategies.
