Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive PPC Executive/Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in production planning and control. The candidate will be responsible for preparing production plans, coordinating with Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams, ensuring material availability, monitoring production progress, and achieving on-time customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders.
- Plan and schedule production to achieve customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor material shortages and follow up with suppliers and internal departments.
- Coordinate with Stores for material availability and inventory control.
- Generate and monitor production orders in the ERP system.
- Track production progress and resolve planning-related issues.
- Maintain BOMs, production schedules, and planning records.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth execution.
- Prepare daily production reports, shortage reports, and dispatch status reports.
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and optimize inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and customer delivery timelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Production Planning & Scheduling
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Good understanding of BOM and inventory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
