Machine Operation
• Operate the shrink wrapping machine in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Start, run, monitor, and safely shut down the shrink wrap machine.
• Ensure proper wrapping and bundling of bottles/cans into the required pack configurations.
• Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, conveyor speed, film tension, and sealing quality.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream equipment to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
Production Responsibilities
• Achieve hourly and daily packaging targets.
• Minimize machine downtime and packaging losses.
• Perform product and pack-size changeovers efficiently.
• Ensure correct SKU, pack configuration, and palletization requirements are followed.
Quality Control
• Inspect shrink-wrapped packs for:
o Proper film shrinkage
o Correct seal integrity
o Pack alignment
o Film defects (wrinkles, tears, holes)
o Correct quantity per pack
• Reject defective packs and inform the Production/Quality
