About the Role
Gallery Silver Scapes is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retail Sales Executive who can effectively manage retail sales operations while ensuring accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and strong organizational abilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Sales
- Greet and assist walk-in customers and clients professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable artworks/products.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute towards business growth.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Handle billing, quotations, invoices, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate with management regarding customer enquiries and follow-ups.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records of artworks, products, and retail items.
- Update inventory data in ERP/Excel/software systems regularly.
- Monitor stock movement, inward and outward entries, and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and prepare inventory reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper documentation of certificates, provenance records, and inventory tagging.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain customer database and sales MIS reports.
- Support exhibition sales, events, and gallery operations whenever required.
- Ensure proper display and upkeep of retail merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in retail sales and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
