Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer / BI Developer who can transform business requirements into powerful data solutions, analytics, and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in databases, ETL processes, and BI tools.

Key Requirements:
- Solid hands-on experience with databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server (2000/2005/2008 R2), MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or R
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Unix environments

Experience with BI & Reporting Tools:
- Crystal Reports
- Business Objects
- SSRS / MSAS
- Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik, Power BI, SpotFire
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Schema Design
- Experience in OLAP Cubes, dashboards,



KPI analytics
- Exposure to AI/ML use cases using Python/R is a plus
- Knowledge of SDLC & Agile methodologies

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze customer requirements & business use cases
- Design and develop ETL jobs, data marts, reports, dashboards
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts
- Create interactive dashboards and analytical reports
- Design OLAP cubes for advanced analytics
- Review and improve existing database and reporting systems
- Collaborate with clients for solution optimization & issue resolution
- Monitor tasks, report progress, and ensure timely delivery
- Troubleshoot issues across OS, database, and network layers
