Housekeeping
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a hotel or resort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.
- Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.
- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain inventory of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials, and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance department for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, and housekeeping reports as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Valuable organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Language Skills:
- English – Good communication skills.
- Malayalam – Mandatory.
- Hindi – Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Housekeeping, or Hospitality Management is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards will be preferred.
