Picture a nursing trainee in Frankfurt. She moved from Manila six months ago. She's learning clinical German while working a hospital shift, and tonight she's opening an app to practice a vocabulary drill before she sleeps. If she has to think about the interface for even a second, she's already lost the thing she came here to learn.
That's the actual job. A specific person, exhausted, with no patience for anything that gets in her way. At Revyn, we build for clients like this across Europe. The software underneath is genuinely complex, yet very easy to use. That gap, between what the system is doing and what she has to deal with, is where design lives here.
The role
You'll work next to our senior designer (fully remote) on what's actually happening that week. Some weeks that's a flow for the Lingocare platform. Some weeks it's a deck going to subject matter experts who has ten minutes and no patience. Nobody hands you a fully scoped ticket. You look at what exists, find what's broken or missing, and fix it.
We didn't hire an AI to execute a brief.
If we wanted detailed instructions followed precisely, that's a solved problem already. We're hiring someone who can look at something unfinished and know what it's missing without being told.
We care far more about what you've made and how you think than where you studied or how long you've been doing this.
What you'll work on
- Brand and visual identity: logos, color systems, typography, and style guides for EU-facing clients
- Product UI: screens, components, and flows for the lingocare.ai, real Figma files going to dev
- Pitch materials for rooms where you get one shot at being understood rapid
- Web and campaign work across revyn.tech and lingo.care
What actually matters to us
1. Can you look at a five-step process and tell us why it isn't two. That's most of the job, not styling screens.
2. Your portfolio shows the decision, not just the result. Final frames with no reasoning tell us nothing.
3. AI is already
