About the Project:
We are building a next-generation interactive 3D platform that transforms real-world spatial data (SVG/OBJ) into highly dynamic and immersive 3D environments. Our engine focuses on real-time procedural rendering of cityscapes, dynamic media points, and interactive user navigation, creating a seamless and infinite simulation experience.
What You Will Build (The Mission):
You will take complete ownership of implementing our Proof of Concept (PoC) from end to end. We have the core navigation and physics logic mapped out in Python, and your goal is to bring it to life in Godot Engine 4.x with stunning 3D visuals and smooth interactive mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D World Assembly:
Import and configure 3D city models (.obj) and set up optimal lighting, skyboxes, and Camera3D rigs (Over-the-shoulder perspective) in Godot.
- Core Interactive Mechanics:
Translate existing Python/2D core logic into GDScript. Implement smooth path-based navigation, infinite procedural environment generation,
and dynamic object spawning.
- Dynamic Asset Integration:
Build systems to procedurally spawn live media panels (textures updated in real-time) and interactive collectible elements within the 3D spatial environment.
- Production-Level Architecture:
Write clean, highly modular, and scalable code. You must strictly follow professional folder structures (separation of scripts, scenes, and assets). Single-file monolithic coding approaches will not be accepted.
- UI/UX Implementation:
Develop real-time dashboards for session tracking, interactive trigger pop-ups, and session-end states.
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on experience with Godot Engine (3D Workflow, Nodes, Transforms, GDScript).
- Solid programming skills in Python. (Familiarity with 2D frameworks like Pygame is a huge plus to understand our baseline logic).
- Understanding of 3D math (Vectors, Rotations, Transforms) to fix axis alignment issues a
