We are looking for an Design Engineer with experience in costing, product development, and engineering design. The candidate will be responsible for managing RFQs, preparing technical drawings, cost estimation, feasibility studies, and coordinating new product development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer RFQs and maintain RFQ tracker.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare process flow, BOM, and cost estimates.
- Create technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and support target cost calculations.
- Prepare quotations and provide technical support during customer negotiations.
- Compare BOM and costing with customer POs and quotations.
- Manage Current Product Development (NPD) activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare engineering drawings and release them for production.
- Coordinate prototype and sample development until product validation.
- Maintain SAP entries and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate tool procurement, inspection, trial, and tooling release for production.
- Support manufacturing with technical clarifications and engineering changes.
