Role & responsibilities

Obtain and maintain Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent to Establish (CTE), and Consent to Operate (CTO). Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, coordinate with regulatory authorities during inspections, and submit statutory reports within prescribed timelines. Manage EPR compliance for Battery Waste, Plastic Waste, E-Waste, and Tire Waste. Coordinate with authorized recyclers, maintain statutory documentation, and ensure timely submission of returns to CPCB/SPCB. Implement and maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), conduct internal audits, identify environmental aspects and impacts, maintain the legal compliance register, and drive continual improvement initiatives. Coordinate with the Global ESG team to support VinFast's sustainability objectives. Monitor environmental KPIs, prepare ESG data and reports, support sustainability reporting, and drive decarbonization and Net Zero initiatives. Support IGBC certification activities by implementing green building requirements, monitoring sustainability credits,



improving resource efficiency, and coordinating with certification consultants.

Manage the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), optimize water consumption, implement water conservation initiatives, monitor water quality, and maintain water balance and consumption reports. Operate and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system, and sludge handling facilities. Ensure treated water meets regulatory standards and maximize water reuse. Develop and maintain rainwater harvesting systems, manage stormwater drainage, implement groundwater recharge measures, support flood mitigation planning, and enhance overall water conservation. Monitor ambient air quality, stack emissions, noise, water quality, soil, groundwater, and Online Continuous Emission/Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems (OCEMS/CAAQMS) to ensure regulatory compliance.
