Job Summary:
The Mechanical Maintenance Head is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations of all mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance, minimum downtime, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves planning preventive maintenance, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical maintenance activities across the plant/facility.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Supervise and guide maintenance team members and technicians.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and SOPs.
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance services and upgrades.
