ERP Manager

About the Role

We manufacture rigid food packaging (PET, PP, PS/HIPS, plus compostable lines) across multiple plants, and we're moving off spreadsheets and manual processes onto a proper ERP system. We need someone who can genuinely understand how the business runs, production, purchase, accounts, sales, HR, quality, and use that understanding to pick the right ERP, get it implemented properly, and keep it running well afterward.

You'll be the main point of contact with whichever ERP vendor/integrator we choose, and the person everyone comes to when something in the system doesn't match how the shop floor or the accounts team actually works.

Job role

Learn how things actually work here , walk the floor, sit with Purchase and Accounts, understand how Sales and HR operate, and turn that into transparent process maps.

Evaluate ERP options (Odoo, PlastERP, and others), compare them honestly on cost, fit, and support, and help us choose.

Own the implementation end-to-end: requirements, configuration, testing, data migration, go-live, across all plants.





Be the one pushing the integrator when things slip, and the one translating between "what the vendor built" and "what we actually need."

Once live, own the system, user access, master data, reports, troubleshooting, and keep finding ways to automate more.

Qualifications

4-8 years working hands-on with ERP systems in a manufacturing setup, including at least one full implementation you helped drive (not just used).

Real comfort with manufacturing workflows, plastics/packaging experience is a strong plus.

Enough grasp of finance and accounts (purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, GST basics, month-end reporting) to configure and sanity-check that module yourself.

Enough grasp of HR processes (attendance, payroll inputs, recruitment, employee records) to do the same for HR.

Strong Excel/Sheets skills; Apps Script or SQL is a bonus.
