Role Summary / Purpose

We are seeking a Lead Engineer Simulation to join the Engine Power Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore. This role is responsible for performing and leading advanced simulation and analysis activities to support the design, development, validation, and optimization of diesel engine components and systems. The successful candidate will leverage FEA expertise in structural analysis, thermal and thermo-mechanical simulations, and simulation-driven product development to deliver robust, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

The engineer will play a key role in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), productivity, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives by developing analytical models, predicting component life, identifying design risks, and providing actionable recommendations to engineering teams. Working in a global, cross-functional workplace, the engineer will collaborate closely with design, systems, testing, manufacturing,



and validation teams to drive data-driven engineering decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex simulation results into practical engineering solutions. The role provides an opportunity to influence product design, advance simulation methodologies, and contribute to the development of next-generation engine technologies. Essential Responsibilities
- Lead simulation activities for diesel engine components and systems to support product development, reliability, and cost optimization.
