Role Description
The Search Engine Optimization - Trainee role is a full-time remote position focused on learning and contributing to SEO initiatives for various clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with keyword research, supporting on-page optimization efforts, and helping perform basic SEO audits under guidance from senior team members. The trainee will contribute to link-building activities, monitor web analytics, and prepare reports that track organic performance and identify opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with the growth, content, and design teams, active participation in training sessions, and consistent documentation of learnings and best practices.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in keyword research and on-page SEO, including understanding of meta tags, headings, and content optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills related to SEO audits, such as identifying technical issues, content gaps, and optimization opportunities.




- Candidates should possess skills in link building, including researching outreach opportunities and supporting ethical backlink acquisition strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in web analytics, with the ability to interpret basic SEO metrics and use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Basic understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors, with strong interest in SEO and digital marketing.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and online marketing tools, and ability to quickly learn recent platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- A degree or relevant coursework in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
