Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons in line with the schools curriculum and student age groups.
- Teach students how to sing, play musical instruments, and understand music theory, notation, and appreciation.
- Prepare students for school performances, assemblies, and cultural events.
- Lead and manage school choir, band, or ensemble groups.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence through music.
- Assess and report on student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Care for and manage musical instruments and classroom resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues in planning interdisciplinary and cross-curricular projects.
- Stay up-to-date with current music education methods and technologies.
