Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade frontend applications using Next.js and React/Vue.js, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform evolution.
- Own frontend technical strategy, UI engineering standards,performance benchmarks, and critical design decisions for digital insurance platforms.
- Build high-performance, responsive, and secure web applications, leveraging contemporary SSR, SSG, routing, and rendering patterns in Next.js.
- Drive seamless integration between frontend apps and backend APIs/microservices, ensuring alignment with platform architecture anddata contracts.
- Champion UI performance optimization, accessibility, security hardening, and best-in-class user experience.
- Provide technical leadership, reviewing designs and code, guiding developers, and ensuring consistency across multiple teams and projects.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, UX, QA, DevOps, product owners, and architects to deliver holistic, high-quality solutions.
- Translate business and UX requirements into scalable UI engineering approaches and reusable component ecosystems.
- Lead frontend release planning, deployments, production readiness, and operational support including incident response and RCA.
- Ensure all UI implementations adhere to insurance regulatory guidelines, audit controls, and data-privacy mandates.
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level developers, fostering strong engineering discipline and technical excellence within the team.
Education
- BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8 to 10 years of strong experience as a frontend or full-stack engineer with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Deep expertise in React.js/Vue.js and advanced experience with Next.js, including SSR, SSG, routing, and performance tuning.
- Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, modern tooling, and frontendarchitectur
