Role Description
Stoic Films is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Editor to support the post-production process by assembling, organizing, and refining footage under the guidance of senior editors and directors. Day-to-day tasks include importing and logging media, creating rough cuts, synchronizing audio and video, and ensuring continuity across scenes. The role also involves basic color correction and sound adjustments, managing project files, and collaborating with the creative team to maintain the intended visual style and narrative flow. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, requiring close coordination with production and post-production teams throughout the filmmaking cycle.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in video editing techniques, including timeline editing, trimming, and transitions, using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,



DaVinci Resolve).
- Basic skills in color correction, audio editing, and visual storytelling, with an understanding of pacing, continuity, and narrative structure.
- Ability to organize and manage media assets, maintain project files, and follow established workflows and file-naming conventions.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to accept feedback, work under direction, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Attention to detail, creative problem-solving ability, and a strong interest in cinema and storytelling across multiple genres.
- Relevant education or training in film, media studies, broadcast, or a related field; internship or project experience in post-production is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in New Delhi and adapt to flexible schedules based on production needs.
