Cyber Security Executive is
responsible for identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities in web applications, mobile apps, and networks using industry-standard tools. The role involves performing vulnerability scans, documenting findings, supporting remediation efforts, and continuously improving technical skills through hands-on practice. Success in this role requires a solid foundation in networking, web technologies, security tools, and basic scripting, along with relevant education, certifications, and practical experience on cybersecurity training platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Vulnerability Scanning: Run safe, automated tests using tools like Nessus.
- Network & App Testing: Help check web applications, mobile apps, and networks for bugs.
- Report Writing: Create clear reports detailing the flaws you found.
- Remediation Support: Assist developers in fixing the weak points you discover.
- Daily Learning: Practice hacking in safe environments to stay ahead of new threats.
