Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes, including material planning, inventory management, and vendor selection.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop solid relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and service levels.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in purchase/procurement engineering or related field (manufacturing industry).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) from a recognized university.
- Master's degree preferred but not mandatory (M.Tech).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, factory operations, plant operations, production management, production operations, productivity improvement techniques.
