Proposal Engineer – Water Treatment Plants

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled qualified to manage all technical and engineering aspects of proposal preparation for water treatment plants. The role requires strong engineering knowledge, organizational skills, and project management abilities.

Responsibilities
- Tender review and design of optimal water treatment process schemes.
- Preparation of Mass Balance and equipment parameters.
- Designing systems such as MGF, ACF, RO, UF, DM Plant, and UV.
- Using software for UF/RO membrane projections, OPEX calculations, and layout preparation.
- Coordination with suppliers for bought‑out components.
- Preparation of offers, PFDs, P&IDs;, BOQ, deviation lists, cost estimation sheets, line sizing, hydraulics, and valve sizing.
- Drafting offers in SAP and drawings in AutoCAD.
- Timely submission of proposals to the sales team.




- Coordination with sales, manufacturing, projects, service, marketing, and clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Communication with clients regarding payments, dispatches, and documentation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Advanced Diploma in Water Quality Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal preparation for water treatment plants.
- Proficiency in SAP and AutoCAD preferred.
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
