Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to meet business reporting requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and functions for productive data retrieval.
- Perform data modeling using star and snowflake schemas to support scalable reporting solutions.
- Build and maintain ETL/data transformation processes using Power Query (M) and SQL.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to gather and translate reporting requirements.
- Optimize report performance by improving data models, DAX calculations, and SQL queries.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and follow data governance and security best practices.
- Publish, schedule, and manage reports in the Power BI Service.
- Troubleshoot report issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and ongoing report enhancements.
