You're not posting job ads and hoping. You're sourcing engineers who ship production code, building relationships with people who can build real things, and learning how to hire for execution. This internship gives you real recruitment responsibility—not admin work, real work.

What Kuvaka Needs

We're a 20-person engineering team shipping AI products into healthcare, manufacturing, and enterprise. We hire 1-2 engineers per month and we hire deliberately. We need someone who can:
- Source developers from GitHub, LinkedIn, referral networks who've shipped real projects
- Screen resumes quickly: disqualify the wrong fit, move fast on robust signals
- Schedule interviews, collect feedback, manage candidate pipelines without chaos
- Communicate clearly with candidates and hiring managers
- Support new hires through onboarding

That's the job. No coffee runs. Recruitment that moves.

Your Responsibilities




- Source candidates using LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord communities, cold outreach
- Screen resumes and conduct initial screening calls—separate signal from noise
- Coordinate interview scheduling, gather feedback from interviewers
- Maintain an organized candidate pipeline (Airtable, spreadsheet, whatever works)
- Follow up consistently and keep candidates in the loop
- Support onboarding: help new hires ramp, track their first 30 days
- Participate in hiring discussions and contribute to our hiring standards
- Suggest improvements to our job descriptions and recruitment process

What We're Looking For

Non-negotiable:
- 6+ months of recruitment, HR, or operations experience
- Proven ability reaching out to strangers and building relationships
- Clear written communication (emails, follow-ups, feedback should be error-free)
- Organizational discipline: manage multiple pipelines, track deadlines, follow up
