We are looking for a hands-on
Senior Full Stack Developer / Solution Architect
to modernize a large Windows legacy desktop application into a cloud-native Azure platform.
This is
not a DevOps or Azure Infrastructure role
. We are looking for someone who can understand complex legacy Windows applications, reverse engineer existing code, redesign the architecture, and lead the migration to a modern web stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer legacy
Windows Forms (.NET Framework)
applications
- Analyze existing
C#, .NET and C++
codebases including third-party and in-house DLLs
- Understand application architecture, business logic and dependencies
- Design the target cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure
- Migrate desktop functionality into contemporary web applications
- Develop backend services using
.NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Build modern UI using
React
- Refactor monolithic applications into scalable service-oriented architecture
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy and implementation roadmap
- Mentor developers and establish engineering best practices
Must Have Skills
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Expert in
C#
- Strong experience with
.NET Framework
and
.NET Core / .NET 8
- Strong understanding of
Windows Forms (WinForms)
architecture
- Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot
C++
code (development experience is a plus)
- Experience reverse engineering legacy enterprise applications
- Experience working with DLLs, Windows APIs and desktop application architecture
- Strong experience designing scalable software architecture
- Experience building REST APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Strong experience with
React
- Experience migrating legacy applications to Azure
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure App Services, Azure SQL and Azure Storage
