Role Description
The Reporter role at f/6.3 Photography Club RVCE is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Reporter will cover club events, campus activities, and relevant stories, gathering information through observation, interviews, and research. Daily tasks include identifying story ideas, writing clear and engaging news pieces, and collaborating with photographers and multimedia creators to produce comprehensive coverage. The Reporter will assist in planning content for social media and publications, maintain accurate records of events,



and ensure timely submission of reports and articles. The role involves close coordination with club coordinators and other members to uphold editorial standards and represent the club’s work effectively.

Qualifications
- Strong reporting skills, including gathering information, verifying facts, and developing story angles.
- Clear and concise writing abilities, with experience in news writing and basic editorial practices.
- Effective communication skills for conducting interviews, collaborating with team members, and presenting ideas.
- Familiarity with multimedia formats (such as photos, videos, and social media content) and interest in visual storytelling.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced campus environment.
- Interest in journalism, media, or communications; prior experience in student publications or clubs is an advantage.
