Job Description Civil Engineer EED

Position: Civil Engineer – EED
Grade: 5 to 8
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Ulundurpettai, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, site activities, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
- Review project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit project status reports, including updates on milestones, progress, and potential risks to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within the approved budget and schedule.

Qualifications




- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project execution and site management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing workplace.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Building Code (NBC) of India, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
