Department: Production (Feeder Shop/ Machine Shop)
JOB PURPOSE: (Role Summary):
Experience in laser/plasma cutting operations, programming and nesting. The role focuses on optimizing material utilization, improving productivity and ensuring timely project execution.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Diploma (Mechanical/Production)
Experience: DME with 2 to 5 years experience
Specific Industry Experience: Sheet Metal Industry / Automobile Industry / Laser OR Plasma Cutting setups
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Perform laser/plasma machine programming and operation.
Execute nesting of sheet metal components.
Optimize machine efficiency, reduce material wastage and improve productivity.
Plan and schedule production activities as per delivery timelines.
Ensure timely execution of work orders as per shipment plans & troubleshoot production drawing-related issues.
Ensure proper utilization of machines and materials.
