- Qualification :
- Graduate in Law, Commerce, HR, or related field
- 3 7 years of compliance experience (preferably in manufacturing or corporate setup)
- Certification in Labour Law or Compliance preferred
- Required Skill Set :
- Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory regulations
- Familiar with EPFO, ESIC, TRACES, MCA portals
- Solid documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential compliance data independently

We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Statutory Compliance Officer to ensure the organization complies with all applicable statutory requirements, labor laws, tax regulations, and government directives. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, coordinating audits, and maintaining updated compliance records across all company operations.

Description / Responsibilities (IN DETAIL)




- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory laws (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Factory Act,Contract Labour Act, Environmental norms, etc.).
- File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns with authorities (PF, ESI, TDS, PT).
- Maintain statutory records, registers, and documentation.
- Liaise with government departments and labour authorities for inspections, licenses, and submissions.
- Monitor and ensure vendor/contractor compliance, including license renewals and documentation.
- Handle statutory audits, prepare reports, and respond to observations.
- Conduct internal compliance audits and share findings with management.
- Advise HR and management on statutory changes and recommend corrective actions.
- Train internal teams on compliance requirements and best practises.
- Coordinate with consultants, legal advisors, and external compliance agencies.
- Assist HR in drafting and updating policies in line with legal requirements.
