Responsible for detailed instrumentation engineering and design for offshore HVDC/HVAC platforms, including yard and offshore execution support.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of:
- Instrument datasheets and specifications
- I/O lists, instrument index
- Hook-ups, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams
- Cable engineering:
- Cable sizing and routing
- Glanding, termination philosophy
- Interface with vendors for package instrumentation
- Support 3D model reviews (95%, 90%) and design freeze milestones
- Ensure alignment with SPI / SmartPlant Instrumentation database
- Support procurement, VDR review, and site queries
- Participate in FAT/IFAT and provide yard & offshore commissioning support
- Ensure compliance with project specs and international codes
- Solid hands-on experience in detailed design & engineering tools (SPI, E3D, etc.)
- Experience in offshore platform instrumentation design
- Familiarity with installation practices at yard and offshore
