Key Responsibilities

Branding
- Develop and maintain the franchise's brand identity (logo, colours, tone of voice, brand guidelines)
- Ensure consistent brand use across jerseys, merchandise, digital assets, and stadium/venue signage
- Manage the team name, mascot, and other identity elements in coordination with league requirements





Marketing & Publicity
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns around match days, player signings, and season launches
- Manage social media, website, and digital presence for the franchise
- Build relationships with sports journalists, media houses, and influencers for coverage
- Plan fan engagement activities (fan clubs, meet-and-greets, contests) to build a local following
- Track visibility metrics (media mentions, social reach, ticket sales tied to campaigns)

Sponsorships & Partnerships
- Identify, pitch, and close sponsorship deals (jersey sponsors, title sponsors, co-branding partners)
- Build and manage a sponsor pipeline with target lists across relevant industries
- Prepare sponsorship decks, pricing tiers, and partnership proposals
- Manage sponsor relationships post-signing — deliverables, activation, renewals
- Coordinate with league/franchise commercial teams on shared spo
