Responsibilities
- Manpower Planning and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their manpower requirements.
- Ensure the timely availability of required manpower for different departments.
- Attendance Management:
- Monitor daily employee attendance and ensure 100% manpower availability on the shop floor.
- Counsel employees to minimize absenteeism and enhance morale.
- Payroll and Record Keeping:
- Ensure on-time attendance closure and share data with the payroll department within the defined timelines.
- Regularly update and maintain all statutory records, ready for audit at any time.
- Employee Relations:
- Work closely with shop floor staff and employees to maintain a positive work environment.
- Handle disciplinary actions against employees engaged in misconduct.
- Welfare Measures:
- Ensure safe working conditions for employees inside the factory.
- Oversee housekeeping functions to maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
- Compliance and Liaison:
- Liaise with DISH, ESI, EPF, and other officials to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with government officials during inspections and submit necessary reports.
- Committee Management:
- Conduct regular meetings of the canteen committee, safety committee, and take corrective actions based on meeting outcomes.
- Canteen and Hygiene Management:
- Ensure the proper functioning of the canteen and maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
- Provide and oversee welfare measures such as drinking water, refreshments, and restrooms.
