About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Principal Observability & AI Architect
to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide observability solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. This role requires deep expertise in
New Relic (mandatory)
, contemporary observability platforms, AIOps, and Generative AI to build intelligent, scalable, and resilient monitoring capabilities that enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

You will work closely with Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Platform, and Business stakeholders to define observability strategy, establish governance, and leverage AI to transform operational intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise observability solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, delivering end-to-end visibility into applications, infrastructure, APIs, and business services.
- Design and establish observability standards, instrumentation frameworks, and telemetry strategies for microservices, APIs, frontend applications, SaaS platforms, COTS products, and legacy applications.




- Lead implementation and administration of
New Relic
along with other observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog, and BigPanda.
- Drive OpenTelemetry adoption to enable vendor-neutral and portable observability architectures.
- Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and observability governance frameworks aligned with business and customer experience objectives.
- Automate monitoring and observability deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex production issues using distributed tracing, telemetry, and AIOps techniques.
- Design and implement AI-powered observability capabilities, including intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, automated root cause analysis (RCA), and operational insights.
