Job Summary:

The Psychometrician & Researcher will play a critical role in strengthening BJS's evidence-based assessment and research ecosystem by designing, validating, and implementing scientifically robust psychological and educational assessments. The incumbent will be responsible for developing psychometric tools, conducting research studies, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and generating meaningful insights to support programme improvement, policy advocacy,



and impact measurement.

The role requires expertise in psychometric test development, psychological assessment, educational measurement, statistical analysis, and research methodologies. The individual will work closely with psychologists, educators, technology teams, programme managers, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality assessment systems and research outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Psychometric Assessment Development & Validation
- Design, develop, standardise, and validate psychological assessments for school students, educators, youth, and corporate/organizational settings.
- Develop competency frameworks, assessment blueprints, item banks, scoring systems, norms, interpretation frameworks, and user manuals.
- Conduct pilot testing, reliability analysis, validity studies, item analysis, and standardisation of assessment tools.
