Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SDE-2 who can help out with feature development and scaling our operations. At the SDE-2 level, we expect engineers to have solid general engineering capabilities while also bringing deeper expertise in specific areas. While frontend development will be the primary focus, experience with backend systems, infrastructure, or DevOps practices is highly valued, as these skills help strengthen the teams overall capability. While Kubernetes would be an added advantage.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience building and maintaining web applications at scale.
- Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with at least one popular frontend framework, such as React or Angular.
- Basic understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Knowledge of WebRTC and WebSockets.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, SES, and Lambda.




Responsibilities
- Take ownership of feature development from design through deployment, working closely with the product and design teams.
- Participate in production operations, including incident response, debugging, maintenance, and continuous system improvements.
- Coordinate with other teams on cross-functional projects and proactively learn the complexities of their systems.
- Provide regular support to customers for deployments, integrations, and debugging.
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical and career growth.
