Job Summary
Accenture Industry X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerostructure Drawing Engineer to lead the creation, independent checking, and controlled release of detailed 2D engineering drawings for aerospace structural components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in aerospace drafting standards, rigorous application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;), and comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing drawing practices governing both metallic and composite aerostructure programs.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and release fully annotated 2D manufacturing drawings derived from 3D CAD models for aerostructure components and assemblies, ensuring strict compliance with applicable customer, program, and regulatory standards.
Author and verify detail, assembly, installation, interface,



and sheet metal loft drawings in accordance with program-specific drafting requirements and airworthiness documentation standards.
Produce composite engineering drawings encompassing laminate stacking tables, ply boundary definitions, manual ply cross-sections, and composite ply books, adhering to composite design documentation protocols.
Generate system installation drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Avionics (ME&A;) systems integrated onto primary and secondary aircraft structures, ensuring interface compatibility and design traceability.
Apply and interpret GD&T; per ASME Y14.5 and customer-specific aerospace drafting standards, ensuring dimensional accuracy, functional interchangeability, and producibility of structural details.
Conduct rigorous first-article drawing reviews, tolerance stack-up validation, and formal drawing release activities within the established drawing approval workflow and configuration management framework.
