ROLE PURPOSE / JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Compliance / Compliance Consultant is a multifunctional senior compliance professional responsible for managing and monitoring the organisation's compliance obligations across operational, IT, cybersecurity, regulatory, and AML domains. This role ensures that the organisation identifies, assesses, and addresses its compliance requirements in a structured, timely, and auditable manner. The Sr Compliance / Compliance Consultant serves as a key advisor to management and the Board on the evolving regulatory landscape and acts as the primary point of coordination between the organisation and regulatory bodies across its compliance domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance programme covering operational compliance, IT and cybersecurity regulatory requirements, applicable financial sector regulations, and AML obligations.
- Maintain a regulatory obligation register, continuously monitoring for current, amended, or superseded regulations relevant to the organisation's activities and promptly assessing their impact.
- Lead and coordinate compliance monitoring and testing activities across all compliance domains, producing evidence-based assessments of the organisation's compliance status.
- Manage AML compliance obligations, including the maintenance and enhancement of the AML/CFT framework, transaction monitoring oversight, customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) governance, suspicious activity reporting, and regulatory submissions.
