Analytics & Reporting Team Lead (OTT Platform) AppSquadz is looking for an experienced Analytics & Reporting Team Lead to lead analytics initiatives for a large-scale OTT platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing reporting frameworks, defining KPIs, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that drive product, content, and business decisions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience with OTT analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business reporting requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Define reporting schemas, KPIs, metrics, and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Design and maintain data dictionaries, event tracking plans, and reporting documentation.
- Analyze user engagement, content performance, subscription funnels, and platform health metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, validation, and consistency across reporting systems.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design and optimize data pipelines.




- Develop automated reports and interactive dashboards for business and leadership teams.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the analytics team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, Marketing, and Business teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting automation.
OTT Analytics Experience

Hands-on experience in analyzing and reporting on:
- Content Analytics: Views, Watch Time, Completion Rate, Drop-off Analysis
- User Analytics: DAU, MAU, User Retention, Session Duration
- Subscription Funnel: Install Signup Subscription Active Usage
- Advertising Analytics: Impressions, Fill Rate, CPM, Ad Performance
- Live Streaming Analytics: Concurrent Users, Latency, Stream Health
Technical Skills
- Robust expertise in SQL (Joins, Aggregations, Query Optimization).
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
