Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day oncology laboratory operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of hematology, biochemistry, pathology, molecular diagnostics, and tumor marker investigations.
- Monitor laboratory workflows and turnaround times.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Coordinate specimen collection, processing, storage, and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with NABL, CAP, ISO 15189, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Monitor quality indicators and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct audits and ensure documentation readiness for inspections.
- Maintain patient safety and laboratory safety standards.
- Supervise laboratory technologists, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate who have completed M.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology.

Minimum 8-10 years of laboratory experience in corporate hospital setup or huge diagnostic center.
