Position Summary

The Business Development Associate is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, conducting consultative discussions, coordinating proposals, and supporting business growth across Smartedge Consulting's service portfolio.

The role requires a proactive professional who can independently identify prospects, qualify opportunities,



arrange meetings, understand customer business challenges, coordinate solution development with technical consultants, and manage the sales pipeline until project award.

The Business Development Associate is expected to represent Smartedge professionally and contribute to achieving the organization's strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development
- Identify recent business opportunities across assigned industries.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Conduct market mapping and account planning.
- Generate qualified meetings with key decision-makers.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support annual and monthly business development plans.

2. Customer Acquisition
- Conduct introductory and discovery meetings.
- Understand customer business challenges and compliance requirements.
