Key Responsibilities
- Proofread and copyedit scholarly manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and consistency.
- Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and editorial standards.
- Review formatting, references, tables, figures, and citations for accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and correct language, formatting, and content inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with editors and project teams to ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
- Meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Handle multiple assignments and work efficiently within strict deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in proofreading, copyediting, or academic publishing.
- Excellent command of written English, grammar, punctuation, and editorial practices.
- Experience working with scientific, technical, medical (STM), or academic content is preferred.
- Familiarity with style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style, APA, AMA, or MLA is an advantage.
- Solid attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
