PROFILE SNAPSHOT

Role: The role of a community organizer is necessary for mobilizing adolescents, conducting group sessions with parents and adolescents, mobilizing parents for access to social protection benefits. The role also requires enabling the EHSAS team to integrate community based mental health intervention into the existing program along with parents etc. The role is also important to co-ordinate with health post staff to initiate adolescent friendly health clinics to access services Educational Requirement: SSC/HSC Degree Experience: At least 2-5 years work experience in similar capacity, implementing community projects Location: Dharavi Reports to: Program Officer

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mobilize and support the community-based intervention with adolescents, youth and parents.
- Conduct outreach activities and community based campaign.
- Conduct modular sessions.
- Attend the capacity building sessions and conduct the sessions.
- Support the team in planning and conducting sessions in communities.




- Coordinate with different community stakeholders such as heath post staff, community stakeholders to support the intervention with adolescents and parents.
- Undertake day-to-day data planning of activities.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

Occasional work engagement will be required on weekends or beyond regular working hours.
