Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Deccan Hospital in Kolhapur. The Orthopaedic Surgeon will diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions, perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, and provide pre-operative and post-operative care. Daily responsibilities include outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, surgical planning, operative procedures, and coordination with anesthesiology, radiology, physiotherapy, and nursing teams.



The role involves interpreting imaging and diagnostic tests, advising on rehabilitation plans, and maintaining detailed medical records in line with hospital protocols. The Orthopaedic Surgeon is expected to participate in clinical meetings, follow infection control and safety standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, including diagnosis, clinical examination, and management of general and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Advanced skills in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedics, with competence in common trauma, joint, and soft tissue procedures.
- Specialized knowledge in Spine-related disorders and interventions, including assessment and coordination of appropriate surgical or non-surgical management.
