empathetic yet firm Senior HR
Specialist who can build structure without killing the vibe.
This is not a traditional corporate HR role.
We need someone who can:
- Build culture
- Track performance
- Maintain discipline
- Support leadership
- Keep the team engaged
- And still ensure company rules are respected
If you enjoy working with smaller teams, wearing multiple hats, and building systems from scratch, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
? Culture & Engagement
- Build and maintain a positive, fun, and motivating workplace culture
- Plan team activities, celebrations, dinners, and engagement initiatives
- Manage office morale initiatives (including snack planning & small events)
- Act as a bridge between employees and leadership
? Performance & KPIs
- Design and track employee KPIs aligned with company goals
- Conduct performance reviews and goal-setting discussions
- Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans
- Ensure accountability with fairness and maturity
? Other Operations
- Monitor team time logs and shift adherence
- Enforce company policies while maintaining respect and trust
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
- Maintain employee documentation and HR processes
- Support payroll coordination and appraisal cycles
- Bring structure to policies as we scale
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of HR experience (startup or small team experience preferred)
- Experience tracking KPIs and managing performance frameworks
- Robust emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution ability
- Comfortable speaking with both senior leadership and junior team members
- Balanced personality, empathetic but firm
- Organized, proactive, and confident
- Comfortable working UK shift and commuting to office.
