Job Title: Associate Dean – Academics

Reporting to: Dean of School

Job Purpose
An Associate Dean of Academics is a high-level administrative position at the School. The Associate Dean of Academics is responsible for overseeing the academic programs and initiatives. This includes setting curriculum standards, developing and implementing academic policies, and working with faculty and other staff to ensure the quality of the institution's educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership & Policy Development
- Develop and implement academic policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP), under the leadership of the Dean – Academics
- Develop a roadmap in consultation with the Dean – Academics for the phased implementation of academic reforms across the School
- Define curriculum standards, credit load, performance criteria, and graduate attributes for academic programs

Resource & Academic Program Management




- Collaborate with the Dean of the School to allocate academic resources effectively across programs
- Support the development, review, and launch of recent academic programs and initiatives
- Oversee allocation of faculty resources—including Visiting, Adjunct, Emeritus, and International Faculty—across programs

Operational Coordination
- Manage timetable and sessional planning for terms, calendar years, and academic years
- Ensure smooth conduct of all employment readiness programs in coordination with the Centre for Industry-Academia Partnerships (CIAP)

Stakeholder Engagement & External Collaboration
- Facilitate academic collaborations and partnerships with other institutions and organizations
- Advocate for academic programs and initiatives both internally and to external stakeholders
- Work with CIAP to incorporate industry feedback for continuous curriculum enhancement
- Collaborate with the University Alumni Affairs offi
