Responsibilities:

1. Database maintenance and upgrade
2. On call – Investigating database issues
3. Database query optimization

Mandatory:

Maintaining Amazon Aurora (Postgres) database

Migrating data as well as transforming data from one format to another

Education for this role:

Bachelors in Computer Science or IT

What project(s) will they be working on? What is the expected ‘end result’ they will be asked to deliver?

Ensure the assigned Postgres databases remain highly available for the next 8 months while the team migrates data to DynamoDB

What does a typical/standard day look like?

1. Verify current status of the DB
2. Take proactive measures to prevent DB outages
3. Execute database upgrade
4. Handle high severity tickets

3 Rounds (Virtual)

40 hours, India daytime
