Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage tool room operations, including maintenance, repair, and replacement of tools and equipment.
- Oversee daily activities such as planning, scheduling, and controlling production processes to meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, manufacturing) to resolve issues related to tooling design or manufacturing processes.
- Develop strategies for improving productivity, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency in the tool room.
- Required Skills & Competencies -
- Solid knowledge of tool room machining, fabrication, and maintenance
- Experience with battery manufacturing tooling preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Leadership and team management capability
- Cost control and planning skills
- communication and coordination abilities
