About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions and backend services. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, AWS cloud services, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server. You will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, backend services, and cloud-native applications while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate secure REST APIs for data processing and application integration.
- Develop and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Work with AWS Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, S3, and CloudWatch to build and deploy applications.
- Design, optimize, and maintain databases using PostgreSQL and SQL Server.




- Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend integrations.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and QA engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in backend development and data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- AWS Lambda
- EC2
- API Gateway
- ECS
- ECR
- S3
- CloudWatch
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Good understanding of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
