Job Description

The position involves working as part of an engineering team, taking a senior role in project delivery, focused on production and liaison with the CORE Team, and mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.

Responsibilities
- Handle projects and/or tasks as assigned by CORE / BEST with minimum supervision, completed within the allocated time, in the requisite detail, and to agreed deadlines, and keep the lead regional project managers informed regarding design progress through the explanation of design decisions.
- Follow in full the document control and QA processes relevant to project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and filed/archived in an appropriate manner.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors,



and other stakeholders to deliver effective structural solutions.
- Carry out detailed design as per client requirements in accordance with latest/relevant Dubai Municipality regulations, American standard codes, QA, and technical review and sign-off by BEST, including complex calculations and coordination issues.
- Organize and undertake technical calculations to industry standards in conjunction with team members; supervise delegated work to ensure completion to deadlines/standards and report any issues, risks, or client changes to BEST.
- Respond to day-to-day queries from BEST, ensuring relevant information is available on time for fulfilling obligations towards clients.
- Determine appropriate software for Computer Aided Design, develop models, and undertake analysis, design, and manual checks.
- Support and mentor Junior Engineers by guiding them through design process and organizing training as directed by CORE and BEST.
