Role & responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor SHE management systems in line with company and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with national and international safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
- Organize and oversee SHE training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns for project staff.
- Liaise with statutory authorities, consultants, and stakeholders on SHE matters.
- Prepare and maintain SHE documentation, reports, and audit records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Supervise SHE teams and provide guidance to junior officers and site staff.

Preferred candidate profile
- Solid knowledge of SHE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage SHE audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in incident investigation and risk management.
- Capability to train and mentor teams on SHE practices.
