Role Description
The Resident Doctor will provide primary and preventive healthcare services at Sevalaya facilities, offering clinical consultations, diagnosing and treating common medical conditions, and managing follow-up care for patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics, maintaining accurate medical records,



coordinating with nursing and support staff, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role involves participating in health camps, community outreach activities, and health education sessions to promote awareness and preventive care among local communities. The Resident Doctor will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and the administrative team to improve service delivery and support Sevalaya’s mission of accessible, compassionate healthcare. This is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai.

Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Clinical experience in primary care, general medicine, or family medicine; experience in community or rural health settings is an advantage.
- Strong skills in patient examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care, with a focus on evidence-based
