Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. You will be a part of a winning team where you will get exposure to engineer Connectors & Terminal solutions for Electric Vehicle applications. You'll need to understand and support the engineering efforts for connector product group in a matrix organization as an Associate Engineer in Connector division of Vehicle group
"Job Responsibilities
1. This role will contribute to design electrical connectors and terminals for electric vehicle applications.
2.
Ideal candidate shall have basic understanding of electronics and electrical fundamentation with strong acumen in mechanical product design with CAD skills.
3. Derive requirements for the overall size, fastening, current rating, protection and mounting for electrical connectors and terminals
4. Develop concepts meeting the requirements as clean sheet design and enhance from current design variants with in the product portfolio
5. Work with Project Lead to support and aexecute the project activities to meet the project deliverables on time
6. Compare competitor products through soft / hard benchmarking and improvise unique design concepts that is compact, lower in weight, faster heat dissipation and other differentiated technical attributes
7. Perform basic calcuations of weight, load distribution, fastener loads, etc to support the design refinement of connectors and terminals
